Regency Era Tea Party

The elegance of the Regency era and the allure of Jane Austen, whose birthday we celebrate this year, come together, deliciously, in this program from local author Margaret M. Johnson. Author of fourteen cookbooks, including Tea & Crumpets and Teatime in Ireland, Johnson weaves period tea customs and foods into a delightful menu that includes decadent confections, elegant cakes, and other tea party classics. Exquisite teas and lemonade will be served, and Ms. Johnson’s cookbooks will be available for sale and signing. 

Patrons should bring their best teacup and saucer.
