Join us as we embark on an exciting journey to enhance your Community Library! Following the initial Community Meeting on October 1st, where we discussed our renovation vision and gathered valuable feedback, we invite you to our Community Meeting Part II on Wednesday, November 20th, at 6:30 p.m. This gathering will provide an opportunity for a second Q&A session and a chance to review any updates made to our plans based on your input.

Endometriosis, a distressing and debilitating medical condition which causes painful menstrual cramps, heavy or irregular periods, and which sometimes can affect fertility, impacts up to an estimated 10% of women between the ages of 15 and 45.  Dr. Jennifer. M. Blaber, a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stony Brook Medicine, will explain the possible causes, risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options which can provide relief for many women.   This is a Long Island Library Programmer's Association Program, offered in partnership with Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and hosted by Montauk Library.
