VISAGE: PAINT ME AS I AM CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS OF THE LIVING FORM – LOIS LEVY, ARTIST
“My love for the human form goes all the way back to my childhood. I would copy the fashion illustrations that appeared in the Sunday New York Times. That, and a superb art education, led me to a wonderful career in the fashion industry as an illustrator and apparel designer. When that door closed, another one opened that brought me back to creating and teaching the art that I have always loved. I hope you enjoy viewing this show of artworks in acrylic, watercolor and mixed media as much as I have enjoyed the journey of its creation.” “One’s art goes as far and as deep as one’s love goes, and there is no reason for painting but that.” - Andrew Wyeth
All are welcome to an artist’s reception being held in the Library’s Art Gallery on Friday, July 14th, from 4 - 6 p.m
