“The Poet with the Wings of a Painter”: Marc Chagall, 40th Anniversary, Part One (via Zoom)

This program traces Chagall’s artistic life from his beginnings in Vitebsk, Belarus, to his pursuit of an art career in St. Petersburg (1906-1910) and his encounter with the kaleidoscope of colors and forms in the work of French artists in Paris (1910-1914). His paintings illustrate the steps of his journey.
