Following the initial Community Meeting on October 1st, where we discussed our renovation vision and gathered valuable feedback, we invite you to our Community Meeting Part II on Wednesday, November 20th, at 6:30 p.m. This gathering will provide an opportunity for a second Q&A session and a chance to review any updates made to our plans based on your input.

Program Description

Event Details

The treacherous shores of Long Island have resulted in numerous shipwrecks and maritime tragedies. In this program, Eco-Photo Explorers will examine some of Long Island’s most important and compelling shipwrecks. The stories of these harrowing events are part of the fabric of Long Island’s history. Tales of Revolutionary War era
warships, slave ships, smugglers and shipwrecks that changed modern maritime practices will all be discussed.
